1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Relately, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Relately is a dating and relationship platform that connects users through in-depth personality profiles and a curated selection of compatible matches based on established psychological frameworks. The service includes personality assessments, compatibility reports, and relationship guidance. Relately is not a therapy substitute or medical tool.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Relately only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You may not misuse the service or attempt to access it through unauthorized means.

Relately maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy toward any form of harassment, abuse, threats, intimidation, hate speech, discrimination, or conduct intended to harm, demean, or endanger other users. This includes, but is not limited to, bullying, stalking, sexual harassment, doxxing, and any behavior that creates a hostile or unsafe environment.

Violations of this policy will result in immediate and permanent account suspension without prior warning. Relately reserves the right to report abusive conduct to the relevant law enforcement authorities where appropriate.

5. User-Generated Content

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. Users who violate this policy will be permanently removed.

You are solely responsible for all content you create, upload, or share through Relately, including profile information, photos, messages, and any other material (“User Content”).

Prohibited Content. You may not post or transmit any User Content that:

• Is objectionable, offensive, obscene, or sexually explicit, or contains nudity or pornographic material;
• Promotes violence, self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity;
• Is created or shared by users under the age of 18, or targets, exploits, or endangers minors in any way;
• Contains hate speech, slurs, or discriminatory language targeting race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Harasses, threatens, bullies, or intimidates any individual;
• Is fraudulent, deceptive, or impersonates another person;
• Contains spam, solicitations, or commercial advertising;
• Infringes on any third party’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• Contains malware, viruses, or other harmful code.

Enforcement. Relately actively monitors and moderates User Content. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these policies at our sole discretion and without notice. Users who post objectionable or abusive content will be subject to immediate and permanent account termination under our zero-tolerance policy.

Reporting. If you encounter content or behavior that violates these terms, please report it immediately through the in-app reporting feature or by contacting us at [email protected]. We will review and act on all reports within 24 hours of receipt and take appropriate action, which may include content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban.

Blocking. Users can block any other user directly from their profile or chat screen. Blocking immediately removes the blocked user from the blocking user’s experience, prevents all further contact, and notifies our moderation team for review. Blocked content is removed from the user’s feed instantly.

6. Community Guidelines

Relately is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive community. All users must adhere to the following guidelines:

• No harassment or abuse — Do not harass, bully, stalk, threaten, or intimidate other users in any form.
• No nudity or sexual content — Do not share nude, sexually explicit, or suggestive images or messages.
• No hate speech — Do not post content that promotes hatred or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or any other characteristic.
• No spam or solicitation — Do not send unsolicited advertisements, promotions, or repetitive messages.
• No impersonation — Do not impersonate another person, create fake profiles, or misrepresent your identity.
• No underage use — You must be at least 18 years old to use Relately. Any user found to be under 18 will be immediately removed from the platform.

Violations of these Community Guidelines are enforced under our zero-tolerance policy and will result in immediate and permanent removal from Relately.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of Relately, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, algorithms, and software, are the exclusive property of Relately and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Relately provides relationship insights for informational purposes only. We are not liable for any decisions made based on information provided through the app. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these terms — including, without limitation, violations of our Acceptable Use and User-Generated Content policies. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
